Hands on Spring Boot with msg

ATTENTION: The date has changed. The workshop will now be on 2017-11-24 at 14h!

Since the early days of Java, the “Spring” framework adds useful features to the language that are necessary for enterprise web applications. Spring was established as an alternative to JEE, which was quite complicated to use in the beginning. Three years ago, Pivotal introduced “Spring Boot”—a radical simplification of the extensive configuration of Spring applications and an extension to simplify the development in DevOps and Cloud scenarios. In a two hour hands on workshop, the participants learn to know Spring Boot. Employees of msg will also give an insight into the basic mechanisms of Spring Boot, namely “convention over configuration” and “configuration using conditionals”.

The number of participants is limited to 20. Therefore, a short Registration is necessary as well as an own laptop to program the examples on your own.

The workshop will be held in German language.
